Liberty Education Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate school based Personal Care Aide in Reading, PA and surrounding areas to join our team! We are committed to providing exceptional educational and support services to our students, and we believe that every individual deserves access to quality education and care.

Job Description:
As a Personal Care Aide, you will work closely with teachers and other educational professionals to support the learning and development of students. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in classroom activities, provide individualized support to students, and contribute to the overall positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the lead teacher in delivering instructional activities, including preparing materials, setting up equipment, and organizing classroom resources.
  • Assist students individually or in small groups with academic tasks, assignments, and projects to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement behavior management strategies and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or special educational requirements, by implementing accommodations and modifications as directed.
  • Assist in the supervision of students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, and other school-related events to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Monitor student progress, behavior, and engagement, and communicate observations to the lead teacher or school administration as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, grading, and organizing educational materials, to support efficient classroom operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the lead teacher or school administration.
